It seems the optimizer, atleast with my account, is preferring Evie in Catacylsm when actual testing puts Hells Lament better. Is ths optimizer accounting for the fact shes *only* ulting?

Good catch, thanks. You’re right: Evie’s ultimate fires when she’s deployed, and the optimizer currently doesn’t count that as an ultimate. So Hell’s Lament (which triggers on ultimate) gets no value for her, and Cataclysm always wins. We’re fixing how deploy-triggered ultimates are counted, and there’ll be an option for heroes you keep redeploying. Until then, trust your testing over the optimizer for Evie.

Good tip, thanks! Yes, locking Evie to the Hell’s Lament set in the advanced settings works for now. The proper fix is ready and comes with the next site update: deploy-triggered ultimates are now counted, Hell’s Lament gets its real value for Evie, and there’s an “I redeploy this hero” option for heroes like her.

35 days and Tide 100, you're doing great! The fix is live now: Evie's ultimate on deployment and Hell's Lament are counted for real, and there's an "I redeploy this hero" option for her. Feedback from a newer player's point of view is exactly what helps us most, so keep it coming.
