Wardsage is a free fan project for Watcher of Realms. It is not affiliated with Moonton or the game’s developers. Here, briefly and plainly: what data we get, why, and how to delete it.
What the site gets
- On sign-in: your name, e-mail and avatar from Google or Discord, or an e-mail and password (the password is kept only as a hash). With Telegram sign-in we store your Telegram id, username and name.
- Your e-mail is used only for account e-mails (confirmation, password reset); they are sent by Resend and apart from them the address is used only for forum reply notifications. The sign-in forms are protected by the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check.
- The game account snapshot the Wardsage app sends: heroes, gear, artifacts, resources, summon history, arena teams — the same data you see in the game.
- If you open the arena with the app running — the opponents list the game shows (their names, power, heroes and defence records) and your fights’ statistics. This is for the fight forecast.
- If you are in a guild and run the app — the guild data the game shows: members (names, level, power) and their attacks on the guild bosses and in the guild war. On the site only members of the same guild can see it.
- Error reports — only if you turned them on in the settings (off by default).
- Anonymous visit statistics (Umami on our server): which pages are opened, country, browser language and device type. No cookies, no link to your account, the IP address is not stored.
- The forum (“Community”): topics and replies are public unless you mark a topic private — then only you and the team see it. Your forum nickname is shown next to a post, never your e-mail. Screenshots are stored on our server. Your e-mail is used only for notifications about the team’s replies in your topics.
- The forum is linked to our Discord server: topics and replies from the site are posted there, and posts from the Discord forum appear on the site with the author’s Discord name.
- Cookies — only those the site needs to work: sign-in, language, the chosen game account and the last hero opened in the optimizer. No advertising or tracking cookies.
- Supporting the project goes through Ko-fi, Tribute, Boosty or cryptocurrency networks. They receive the payment details, not us; we only see what they pass on to the recipient (for example, the amount and a name if you gave one).
What the app does on your PC
- The app only reads the running game’s memory, like a debugger. It writes nothing into the game, does not change its files and sends nothing to the game’s servers.
- It does not see or send any passwords — neither the game’s nor Windows’.
- The equip helper clicks buttons in the game window as you would with the mouse, and only after you press “Equip”. The final confirmation (Replace) is yours by default.
- The app’s source code is public: github.com/AlexisKozlov/wardsage-app
Where it is kept and who sees it
- The site and its database run on our own server in the EU — not in the Vercel or Supabase cloud. Only you and the project’s admin (for support) can access your data.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties and show no ads.
- The team gets Telegram notifications about new forum topics and replies (the title, the start of the text and the nickname) so we can answer sooner.
How to delete it
- Settings → “Delete account”: the account and all its data are deleted at once and for good.
- Remove the PC app like any Windows program. Its local files are in three folders: %APPDATA%\Wardsage (settings and the sync code), %LOCALAPPDATA%\Wardsage (updates, the app page and the key that links it to the site) and Documents\Wardsage (saved files with your account data). Versions before 0.62 used folders named RealmForge: %APPDATA%\RealmForge and %LOCALAPPDATA%\RealmForge, and versions before 0.60 also used Documents\RealmForge. These old folders can be deleted too.
